This version of the game was fabricated from pure evil and cruelty by its developers! The is quite long and you start of with a sackful of lives, but there are no checkpoints in the game. So when you are hit or misjudge a jump, its back to the start of the level. Ok, most games are like that its called a challenge.... Where this game turns it up a notch is that you need to get 'ACE' rating on every level. This is made of other stats on how well you did in the level. Not 'Energizing'... Space Channel 5 is a rhythm game, originally an exclusive to the Sega Dreamcast, but later ported to the PS2. You play as Ulala, a news reporter for Space Channel 5, trying to cover a strange alien invasion whilst keeping things totally stylish to keep the channel ratings up. If your audience figures are too low after one of your reports, your show gets cancelled. Simple! Original Archived Version available at the Let's Play Archive . Uzu Keobukseon ia a Korean shoot em up translated as Space Turtle Ship and it isn't actually that bad and is certainly better than some of the taito and teoplan ports of some games. The music is a little weak but the game is fun with armour and actual weapon upgrades. You always have 2 weapons but they are both upgraded to something new each time you collect enough power ups and you boat/ship also upgrades its armour. taking a hit reduced your power up level. While watching the Vexation's Grim Fandango LP I tried to think of some other games which would be more entertaining to watch without somebody jibber jabbering over it, and this was the first game to come to mind. Stupid Invaders is a point-and-click adventure game loosely based on the TV series Space Goofs , released in 2000. It's ....Space invaders. This version appeared on just about every current system at the time and in fact I already recorded Gameboy Advanced version that this can be compared with. I only recorded Expert mode this time which allows a full run of the game. Completing this mode unlocks classic space invaders and maniac mode. In Maniac mode, the game is speed up, everything is faster exept your special weapon. I showed this mode on gba, and didn't see the need to show it again as it... Master System Port of Space Invaders 91 the Arcade game. Probaby the best of the 8 bit ports as it moves fluently and has pretty much all the abilities and levels of the bigger 16bit ports. I first play through the Advanced game which goes through all levels before the final bossfight and ending. I then play the Normal game mode which you can choose a patch through 5 levels with the cow mutilation bonus levels in between. The ending is the same. 00:00:00 Playthrough in Advanced Mode.... The game starts out interesting but soon starts to become repetitive. With 100 levels to get through, the slow gameplay, uninteresting power ups and bosses that seem to get progressively less interesting it just feels like it was all for nothing with no real ending. I then jump into the fray again in the unlocked maniac mode, but other than faster gameplay, nothing much changes although I do lose some lives towards the end. Have I got anything good to say about the game? .... Well, the... Topics: Space Invaders, Gameboy advance, nintendo, game, console, longplay, complete
Dead Space is a game that just kind of happened. Electronic Arts has never been known for releasing survival-horror, and Redwood Studios only did licensed work, like The Godfather and The Simpsons. But somehow, a group of people sat down and said, "We love sci-fi. We love horror. Let's make a survival-horror game in space." And they did. And it was great. This is more of a mini play then a longplay. The game like the arcade original is endless, so you'll have seen pretty much everything the game has to offer durring the opening stage. I start of showing Score attack challenge mode 3d which is just 1 stage. Then I show abit of classic 2d space invaders PartII arcade, followed by the same in 3D mode. To finish off I show challenge mode timeattack, again in 3D, but it shows the other backdrop used when Playing classic Space Invaders mode. All in... I quite like space invaders extreme on my psp but its a damned hard game. This ds one seems a bit easier, well..at least until extreme mode. Its a good and fun version of the game. Sometimes I seem to lose my shot Chain when going into the bonus rounds which annoy me. as it stops me getting an S rating at the end of the round. Two plays have been recorded. Some good music and sfx which often reminds me of the old Rez game. 00:00:00 - Arcade mode. Completing unlocks Extreme mode and... Space Harrier II, one of the launch games for the Sega Mega-Drive. The game runs at a pretty low framerate which doesnt help your shot accuracy ;) Its safe to say if this game had come out a year later, the devs would have better knowledge of the hardware to make the game near arcade perfect. We have the 32x version for that however. Topics: Space Harrier, sega, genesis, game, console, mega drive, longplay, complete

This is a 2D video of the game Space Harrier 3-D on the master system which utilized the Sega Scope 3D glasses. This recording is also using native PSG audio. This is quite a difficult version of the game. Enemy fire can get you within 4 rendered frames (not counting lag frames) which doesnt give you alot of time to move. Moving is one thing you need to do constantly though as the enemy always fires at the point you are when they fire. I think the number of ground obstacles are also... Not alot to say about this game. Its space Invaders ....ont he Genesis. I was looking for Super Space Invaders as that game is great on any platform. Conversion of the arcade laserdisc original to the Sega CD. It's a short game when you know what to do but damn is it difficult. You pretty much need to know what moves to press before the following scene plays else you don't have enough time to react especially towards the end of the game. I add the demo's of dragons lair and Brain dead 13 onto the end of the video. As a bonus, you can also download a longer video which contains all the fmv scenes of the game. This was made possible by... Topics: Space Ace, sega cd, mega cd, genesis, mega drive, game, longplay, walkthrough, complete, fmv
Space Squah Being in Japanese I had no idea what was going on in the game. Before each level you can select what your special power up will be, so I just had to select as random. Had I read the faq first, I would have known what I was selecting, and the boss battles would have gone much smoother. It took me a while to figure up you need to charge your special power, so you dont see me doing that till near end of the game. and I do only take on the last boss with a suitable special power, Thank... There is always an element of risk in trying to determine what is "fun" for a player. Although some try to apply a single theory of game design to reduce that risk overall, the presenter sees each game as an individual opportunity to define game playability. The presenter elaborates on design risks and returns from his own experiences designing the Kirby and Smash Brothers games for Nintendo. Sequel to the already great game Space Invaders Extreme. This time with more visuals to distract you, item drops to distract you and bonus rounds which run along side the normal gameplay and to top it off, more fiendish bosses as if the game isnt already hard enough on the little ole ds screen. Again some really nice arcady visuals, music and sfx throughout. I play pretty badly, just wiping out the levels as fast as I can to make it through while keeping my chain count high. S Rating... As a fan of the Wing Commander games, this has been along time comming but I think it was worth it. Its a good port thats geared towards the sega-cd's strenghts rather then a just hope for the best approach of monkey island. It is more colourful then the Amiga 500 version and also faster due too the systems dual 68000's. Well I say faster, but once you get into heavier combat later in the game it crawls just as bad and is barely playable. The biggest difference in this version against all... This episode starts out with "This episode of consolevania was found on a German filesharing website. the uploader is unknown", acting in a similar way to The Black Episode of Season 3. The original Space Quest was an attempt by two Sierra programmers to create a parody of both science fiction and adventure games, and it worked. It worked well. It may have worked TOO well. The game spawned no less than five sequels and developed a huge following among adventure game fans. Its scope and popularity are probably second only to Sierra's flagship series, King's Quest, among all of the company's adventure game properties, and Space Quest arguably had the dignity to end before...
